The Palace Hotel
The Palace Hotel is the location for Navis World 2008 User Conference. A rich 19th century air of elegance greets you as you walk through The Palace Hotel doors. Beautifully vaulted ceilings and original Austrian crystal chandeliers recreate the glamour of yesteryear.This turn-of-the-century grandeur melds with an ideal balance of antiques and ultra-modern amenities in the 518 luxurious guest rooms and 34 suites have been newly restored with the latest in modern luxury with traditional mahogany furnishings and updated fixtures. All rooms have 14' ceilings and windows that open for fresh air. The guest rooms feature individually-controlled air conditioning and heating units, safe deposit boxes, refrigerators and hook-ups for personal computers and facsimile machines. Located on the fourth floor, the Palace's beautiful health club features a sky-lit swimming pool, whirlpool, full-service spa, sauna and fitness center.
The Palace Hotel is centrally located downtown, adjacent to the Financial District. It is walking distance to Union Square, the Cable Cars, the Embarcadero, Chinatown, Moscone Convention Center, AT&T Park, Sony Metreon, Yerba Buena Gardens, San Francisco Museum of Modern Art and the Theater District.

Accommodations Information
We have negotiated room rates for Navis World 2008 attendees as follows:
Deluxe Room: $285 USD + 14.065% tax per night, single or double
All hotel charges will be billed to your credit card, including room and tax, and incidentals. Your personal credit card will be required upon check-in. Room reservations will be accepted on the Navis World 2008 Registration Form. Hotel accommodations are confirmed for your arrival on April 20 and departing on April 23, unless otherwise indicated on the hotel section of the registration form.
Please register no later than Friday, March 21, 2008. The group rate is available until the registration deadline but is subject to availability. Hotel accommodation requests made after this date are subject to hotel availability and prevailing rates.
Notes:
- Cancellations within 72 hours of arrival will be assessed one nights' cancellation charge.
- Revisions and/or cancellations must be sent in writing to Conference Registration Department at navisworld2008@streamlinevents.com.
- Early departure fee of $100.00 will be assessed unless the hotel is informed of your revised hotel dates before or at check-in.
- Third person charge is $40.00 additional, per night (maximum of three (3) adults per room). Children under eighteen (18) are at no additional charge.
- Room preferences are accommodated where possible, but cannot be guaranteed.

Air Travel arrangements are made directly through your corporate travel agent and booked to San Francisco (SFO) or Oakland (OAK) International Airports.
Airport Transfers
The Palace Hotel is approximately 15 miles from San Francisco (SFO) and Oakland (OAK) International Airports.
BART (Bay Area Rapid Transit)

BART operates rapid rail service directly between SFO and San Francisco. The SFO BART Station is located on the Departures/Ticketing Level of the International Terminal (Boarding Area G side). BART is easily accessed from any terminal by riding SFO's AirTrain to the Garage G/BART Station stop.
BART also operates rapid rail service directly between OAK and San Francisco via AirBART Shuttle. Please note that Bus ticket machines do not make change. AirBART fares can also be paid on-board the bus with exact change only.
All BART stations are accessible to the handicapped. Elevators for the handicapped may also be used by airline passengers with luggage.

- Take Highway 101 North towards I-80/Bay Bridge
- Exit Fourth St. off I-0 (last S.F. exit)
- Exit will bring you to Bryant St., stay two left lands

Pre-Arranged Vans
Pre-arranged vans provide service between SFO/OAK and passenger-specified locations in shared ride vans. Depending on the number of passengers, pre-arranged vans may make multiple stops. Passengers must make reservations with the pre-arranged van service in advance of pick-up at SFO or OAK.

Taxi
Taxis are available from either SFO or OAK for an estimate fare of $40 - $60 plus tip (approximately 25 minutes).
Rental Cars
Rental cars are not necessary for your trip to San Francisco unless you plan to extend your visit and explore outside the city limited before or after Navis World 2008.
